I was at the last show of Kamelots European Tour last weekend. The best concert I have ever been to. I was right in front of the stage, middle of it, and it was phenomenal. Seeing Kahn and all the other members of Kamelot LIVE for the very first time and listening to so many known songs. It was great, and I wish I could experience it once more.
They played songs as Ghost Opera (of course), The Human Stain, Abandoned, Center of the Universe, Love you to death, The Light I Shine On You and many, many more. It was the best concert I have been to, followed by Play! A Video Game Symphony. Best thing was that my friend managed to give him his russ card in the middle of a song. Genius! Another great thing was when Kahn brought his 85 year old grandfather on stage where he played the accordion and Kahn sang this old Norwegian folksong named “Sove min Lise, GrĂ¥te min sang” or something like that, and people were going “Grandpa! Grandpa!”, only on Norwegian of course. Kahn is Norwegian so that’s why he was able to bring his grandfather on stage. Brilliant.
Warm up bands were Forever Slave and Firewind. Two great bands which I will now listen more of. They sounded pretty well, and the whole thing was one of a kind-like experiences. I fought not to get pushed away from my place, and believe me, it was quite the battle, but I managed to keep my place in front of the stage during the whole thing. Man, It got crowdy, but I did not care as I was watching Kamelot Live.
I do not have pictures as they did not allow you to film or take photographs during the concert. If you don’t know who Kamelot is, you shoudl seriously check them out! Sorry for the late update. So many things has happened lately and I rarely get time to write about them before something new happenes.
I know I haven’t posted in a while and here’s the reason: As you may or may not know, I am russ this year. This being, we have a van and are working like mad to get it done before Monday. If I haven’t been at school or working (at my job), I’ve been working on this van day and night. We have some pictures, so I will post them when I get the time, but until further we have to keep on working on it.
It’s sweet now. We’ve installed new chairs, floor and a pretty cool sound system. Haven’t painted it yet though, but that’s the least that needs be done, and does not require to be done before Monday. Thanks for understanding, and don’t miss the photos when I post them!
My excuse for not updating my PyS60 Guessing Game is that recently I managed to break the LCD on my Nokia N95, which was my working phone. It’s sad really, but the the project will have to wait until I fix my phone. See for yourself:

So the nameswtich was a hoax! Did I fool you? Most likely not.
Unfortunately ernsgamezone will need to do a nameswitch because of copyright issues. Apperantly the name ernsgamerzone has been taken since 2003, and I didn’t start before 2004. I was lucky enough to buy this domain when they had forgotten to pay for it and got it. Unknown of this, I have used the domain to this day, but will need to swtich now as they are threatening with lawsuit. What new name I will come with is unsure, but I will need to think of something new. If you have any ideas, don’t hesitate to post a comment with the idea. Thanks and sorry for the bad news.
Yep. I have now updated to the newest version of Wordpress (2.5) and so far it’s real smooth. New dashboard and fresh color, much faster and cleaner and efficient. I like it! Thumbs up.
Okay, It took me a week to post about my experience at The Gathering this year. As the title might have told, it has been almost one week since I left The Gathering 2008, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss it already, and I can’t wait for next year. The fuss about TG this year was that the government suddenly didn’t count TG as a cultural happening and demands VAT for ticket sales 2006, 2007 and 2008. Over 2 millions Norwegian kroner. What’s up with that? So we protested! (You should too!)
Anyway, entering the ship was phenomenal as last year. Meeting new people and old friends was cool. And quite some shows this year as well! I’m too lazy to write what happened every day, so I’ll just end with this: Can’t wait too next year. It’s really hard to explain as you must have been there to know how it was. I don’t know. If you’re curious, google it. Anyway, I got pictures this year! w00t!
Picture link!
You may already have noticed this, but easter came quite quick this year. In fact, easter hasn’t been this early since 90 years ago, and it will remain the king of the hill for another 277 years. So take note people! This will be a special easter for these generations to experience. Will TG08 be as special. Well, the big day is tomorrow, so we have yet to see. Time to start packing!
Ok. Only 16 days or so left to The Gathering, the worlds second largest computer party event, taking its place as usual in Norway at Vikingskipet, Hamar. I will attend there as I did last year and I’m looking forwards to it already. There are so many things I need that needs be done, and I hope to do them before TG. Anyway, I have now gotten my seat, and this year I will be seated at row 44. which is a part away from the scene, but I’ll manage none the less. Not too many familiar faces with me this year, though more friends of mine are coming this year. Oh I can’t wait. Want to read more about TG, visit their site!
